Frozen Camp WMA is a three-mile-long riparian buffer project doubling as woodcock and other gamebird habitat. Eighteen months of planting followed two years of collecting local seed and growing 10,000 shrubs and about 5,000 trees. Several pocket wetlands were planted to create instant habitat for amphibians.
