Invasive Plants on SALE NOW!
Happy New Year everyone. Working on proposals at our local Panera Bread (my new remote office) today. Taking a break, I stroll outside to take in the view of the drainage ditch out back to see what’s growing. Weeds. Invasive weeds. Japanese knotweed, Japanese rose, privet, Bradford pear, and lots more. A few lonely eastern red cedar trying to make it.

I remembered that these plants were sold in nurseries and heavily promoted in their day. I then wondered if, by chance, these invasive plants were STILL FOR SALE? Not possible, right? Wrong. Some of the most destructive invasive species are still on the market. Friends don’t let friends plant invasives.
